Yoga After Dark was created in 2009 to merge yoga, music and community. It was widely received by everyone who attended the event, both yogis and non-yogis.

YAD is a two-hour immersive, multimedia experience in motion, mindfulness and meditation. The goal of this inner journey is relaxation and restoration. We can balance our energy and live more harmoniously by consciously using motion, breath and our senses.

Through a series of gentle and calming movements and breathing techniques, you will prepare yourself for a beautiful guided meditation session.

Participants enjoy vivid visual projections of the four seasons, while being bathed in surround sound music and atmospherics, dissolving into complete relaxation. This music set is cultivated especially for Yoga After Dark. It is an exotic blend of world rhythms, downtempo and ambient flavors, performed by Joseph Murray (Toao) and Michael Mitchell (Iguassu). Motion and guided meditation led by Valencia Wood.

End the evening with a special selection of herbal teas and light organic refreshments.

Please bring a yoga mat. A pillow and light blanket are optional, but may help you enjoy the guided meditation even more.
